Alumni Spotlight: Michael Maloney ’16

Throughout his program, Professor John Dion met with Maloney one-on-one because his schedule did not allow him to attend a capstone marketing class. Likewise, Professor Chris Lucarelli coached him through an independent study in supply chain and operational excellence he could not fit in during work hours.

Saint Rose truly helped me shape my career. We were able to have our own portfolio and invest it, learning the values of entrepreneurship, of taking risks, and most important of learning from all experiences whilst being the best teammate.

Saint Rose was the platform I needed to grow as an individual and led to opportunities I may not have received if I had gone elsewhere.

I still have the notebooks I used in many of my courses, knowing that one day I will own my own business, and will have the skills to take with me, wherever I go."

Complementing our expert classroom instruction are a variety of hands-on experiences, from group projects and simulations to career fairs and required internships.
