Welcome from the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs

As the College’s Chief Academic Officer, I welcome you to the remarkably accomplished, talented and dedicated community that is The College of Saint Rose. Home to four schools with nationally accredited programs, centers and institutes, the Saint Rose family includes over 5,000 highly motivated undergraduate and graduate students, over 200 exceptional faculty dedicated to cultivating student success, and scores of involved alumni and supporters, all of whom contribute to the intellectual, scholarly, creative, artistic, diverse, and cultural success of the College and the surrounding region.

The rich educational experience at the College includes: rigorous liberal arts and sciences curricula; professional programs; a First Year Experience designed to engage students in academic endeavors while encouraging participation in campus life; opportunities for student teaching, study abroad, internships, research, performance, community service, and interdisciplinary study. Our location in the capital of New York State affords students the advantage of opportunities related to state and regional government, as well as the chance to actively participate in our engaged urban campus.

I encourage you to explore our website to learn more about our academic programs, co-curricular opportunities, and dedicated faculty. The College of Saint Rose, an inspiring community in which to work, study, live and contribute, welcomes you to share in our mission that inspires our graduates to be productive adults, critical thinkers, and motivated, caring citizens.
