POLICIES & STANDARDS
Admission

Applicants must meet or exceed the minimum academic requirements of an “A” average and a 1200 SAT score to be considered for acceptance into one of these highly competitive programs.

Student Status
These students are considered graduate students once they earn 110 credits. Once all course work has been completed an undergraduate and graduate degree will be awarded. Minimum academic standards must be maintained throughout student’s academic program.

Scholarships & Financial Assistance
Students accepted into an accelerated program will receive scholarships and aid decisions that reflects their status as an undergraduate student.

Once a student reaches graduate student status:

  • scholarships are pro-rated based on the graduate tuition
  • any federal or state aid will need to be adjusted to reflect this new status

Accelerated/Dual Degree Programs
Bachelor’s and master’s degrees earned in four and a half to five years or more, depending on program.

Saint Rose offers dual degree programs that are available through collaborative agreements with several colleges in
New York selected for their rigorous academic reputation.

3+2 Engineering
Combines a three-year BA in Interdepartmental Studies at Saint Rose with a BS in Engineering.

3+3 Law
Combines a three-year program with Albany Law School giving students an undergraduate degree and a J.D. degree in 6 years. Students may choose to apply for several majors.

3+1 Medical Technology
Combines a three-year academic component at Saint Rose with a one-year internship and specialization at the Rochester General Hospital School of Medical Technology or the Berkshire Medical Center School of Medical Technology. Applicants are evaluated by the admissions offices at the medical schools and at Saint Rose.

4+2 Occupational Therapy (BS or BA/MS)
4+3 Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy (BS or BA/DPT)
Students wishing to pursue one of the two therapy degrees complete a bachelors degree at Saint Rose, then begin studies on the graduate level. POLICIES & STANDARDS
Saint Rose also offers dual degree programs. Acceptance into these programs will vary and applicants may be required to meet additional standards.
Each program requires the following:

  • Minimum academic requirements of both The College of Saint Rose and the partner institution must be met prior to and maintained throughout the student’s
    academic career.
  • The maintenance of a specific GPA according to the program requirements (usually no less than a 3.0), with preference given to those who maintain such GPA within the major courses.
  • All major requirements to be taken at Saint Rose.

Fall Enrollment: December 1 for Early Action (non-binding). February 1 for regular admission
Spring Enrollment: December 1
Scholarship Consideration: Completed application must be received by February 1
Financial Assistance: Priority given to FAFSA applications received by February 15.
Regular deadline is March 1
