Educational Computing
(Certificate)
The College of Saint Rose recognizes
the important role technology plays in education and has established
the graduate certificate in educational computing to help current
and future educators integrate technology into their instructional
and professional practice. Educators from all disciplines learn
how to use the technology currently available in their schools to
be prepared for the future of technology in education.

The Saint Rose Difference
Unlike programs designed to train computer specialists, the goal
of this certificate is to provide teachers and non-school based
professionals with the knowledge and skills they need to use computer
technology in educational settings. Designed to benefit both initially
and professionally certified teachers, this flexible, interdepartmental
program enables education professionals to update their skills by
choosing from among several ability-based options. Small class sizes
help students share insights and collaborate on team projects.
Admission Requirements
Currently enrolled graduate students and those who already hold
a master's degree may be admitted to the program by filling out
