(Master of Business Administration)

Our M.B.A program provides students with the skills and knowledge to become effective managers in today's rapidly changing and competitive business environment. Professionally accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs, the program provides a solid foundation in the core business disciplines. Core courses emphasize the development of managerial skills, preparing students to lead, motivate, communicate, and interact effectively with customers, employees, and the community. Through electives, you have an opportunity to develop a more in-depth understanding of accounting, finance, management, and computer information systems.

Practical & Personal Approach
You will learn from dedicated, full-time faculty who combine academic scholarship with practical experience and remain active consultants in the field. Small classes and a collegial, interactive, and supportive atmosphere enable students to cultivate mentoring relationships with faculty and to develop a network of colleagues who share insights and collaborate on team projects. Seminar-style classrooms are equipped with state-of-the-art technology used by students and faculty for presentations.

Flexible Scheduling
Saint Rose M.B.A. students design schedules that suit their active lifestyles and busy careers. Courses are offered for the convenience of those who would like to complete the degree full-time or part-time in the evenings during three 11-week semesters per year. Additional daytime and weekend courses are also available. Saint Rose also offers a One-Year M.B.A. to students who wish for an accelerated full-time experience.

Degree Options
36-credit M.B.A.
Applicants without previous accounting and mathematics coursework may be required to complete prerequisites as part of their M.B.A. program of study.

45-credit M.B.A. Plus+
Students who choose this option will be awarded a Master of Business Administration and an Advanced Certificate in one of three specialized content areas:

Graduate Certificates
The School of Business offers several advanced certificates for individuals who wish to gain specialized knowledge in a business field. Students may choose to pursue a stand-alone advanced certificate or apply certificate courses to the Saint Rose M.B.A.. Each certificate is comprised of five three-credit courses. Saint Rose currently offers three Advanced Certificates:

J.D./M.B.A.
The College of Saint Rose offers a joint law/ business program with Albany Law School of Union University to provide students with the opportunity to complete both the M.B.A. and the J.D. degree in less than four years of full-time study. Applicants must first satisfy the admission requirements of Albany Law School.

Admissions Requirements
At a minimum, an applicant must possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Applications require a Statement of Purpose, current resume, all official academic transcripts and two letters of recommendation. The minimum admission requirement is an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher. Applicants with an undergraduate GPA. below 3.0 are required to submit GMAT scores.
