OUTREACH TRIP TO WASHINGTON D.C.

January 6-11, 2008

Join the service trip to Washington D.C. to serve meals to those who are homeless in our nation’s capital! We will work for “So Others Might Eat”, and spend time reflecting on the issues of social justice and faith. We will also get to see some cool sights around Washington D.C.! Sanctuary Hours
The sanctuary is open weekdays for quiet prayer from 8 am until 10 pm, and on weekends from 10 am to 10 pm. People of all faiths are invited to use the sacred space to deepen their relationship with God by setting aside time for silence, prayer and reflection. The holy books from the various faith traditions are available in the smaller side chapels for those seeking the inspiration of written words.

Want To Try Something New??

Join a “faith community.”

What is that? Well it’s a small group of people who meet once a week for an hour or so. You make a commitment to the group to show up weekly during the month of Feb. You agree to explore matters of faith and life with this group of people.

The groups are meeting Thurs. at 4:15 – 5:15 and 9:45-10:45pm

The Stations of the Cross
During Lent many people of Christian faith reflect on the path Jesus endured on the way to the cross. This hour for prayer will reflect on how the path of Christ unites with the lives of those who daily live with injustice.
