The Office of Parent Relations
at The College of Saint Rose is dedicated to assisting you,
the parents, in supporting your student throughout their college
experience.
The College of Saint Rose philosophy regarding parents as vital
members of our community is expressed by the theme “Parents
as Partners”. The Office of Parent Relations has
the same goal as you do. This common goal is to support the academic
and personal journey that your student has begun and to provide
resources that allow for a rewarding and successful experience.
Now that you and your student have joined the Saint Rose family,
you too, can be part of the “Saint Rose difference”.
In addition to this Website, the Office of Parent Relations
provides other services to parents of Saint Rose students. These
include: Regular mailings that include information about events
that are occurring on campus, deadlines
and important dates, opportunities
for families to visit campus and join in activities, pertinent
information regarding changes in policies or procedures; Co-coordination
of the Parent
Summer Orientation Program; Information regarding large campus
events such as Reach Out Saint Rose Day in September, Family
Weekend in October, and Graduation
in December and May.

Mission Statement
The Office of Parent Relations is dedicated to providing consistent
communication to parents and community members, while serving as
a resource and advocate for parent issues and concerns on behalf
of the educational mission of our students.
Goals & Objectives
- To serve as a campus liaison between parents and college community
- To assist parents better understand their students’ experience
and resolve issues or conflicts as they arise
- To help the campus community understand how The Office of Parent
Relations may benefit individual departments.

going to leave our daughter in Albany at Saint Rose, we had concerns
about many things. Knowing she needed to be independent and also
knowing how we wanted her to be safe played in our minds. Letting
