At the completion of the “Advancing the Saint
Rose Difference Campaign,” Norman Massry was presented with
the “Spirit of Saint Rose Award” for his important and
integral role in enabling the College to exceed the campaign goal
and fulfill its educational mission and values. At commencement
in December 2004, the College awarded Morris Massry an honorary
doctoral degree for his high level of involvement in the community
and his dedication to charitable causes throughout the Capital Region.
At that same ceremony, Norman Massry’s daughter Julie received
her master of business administration degree from Saint Rose, creating
a special moment in which three generations of the Massry family
shared the commencement stage. Today, Julie Massry Knox serves on

Jimmy will graduate from the College’s graphic design program
