Biology

Students can choose from majors in biology,

biology: adolescence education, or biology/cytotechnology.

The biology/cytotechnology program is a 3+1 program offered in conjunction with the Albany College of Pharmacy, School of Cytotechnology. 

A minor in biology is also available.

CAREERS
The programs in biology provide excellent preparation for laboratory work, research, teaching (biology: adolescence eduation), medical school, vererinary school, allied health professions, or graduate study. 

PROGRAM
The required biology courses are supplemented with essential math, chemistry, and physics courses needed for a basic understanding of modern biology from the molecular to the organism level. This program is for full-time day students.
