Math Placement Exam
- All students must take the math placement exam before registering for math or natural science courses. A reservation is required to take the exam in the Academic Support Center. Call (518) 454-2177, stop by the Academic Support Center to make an appointment, or send an e-mail to mathplacement@strose.edu.
- Students wishing to improve their score on the math placement exam should call (518) 454-2177 to meet with a professional who can help develop an individualized math review plan.
Natural Sciences and Mathematics
- The Science/Math Learning Specialist works closely with the Learning Center to provide support and tutorial services to students enrolled in natural science and mathematics courses.
- For students in the Childhood Education, Special Education, and other education programs, the Science/Math Learning Specialist offers content support and strategies to improve familiarity with New York State Learning Standards and best practices in the science and mathematics.
